Charity - Corporate - Celebrity - Golf Tournament Consulting

I learned to love golf at an early age. Like Tiger, and the similarity ends here, I had a golf club in my hands since I can remember. My dad was a career serviceman and was (and is) an avid golfer. A scratch golfer by his early twenties, we spent a lot of time on the golf course. He showed me the rules and
demonstrated the etiquette. He taught me to be a gentlemen on and off the course and taught me the adage I still believe today that you can tell a lot about a person by the way they play a round of golf.
After college, I went into the Advertising business and was fortunate enough to continue my association with golf working with MONY Financial Services when they sponsored the Senior Tour and with the LPGA and Helen Alfredsson and with the manufacturers of Foot Joy and Stay-Soft shoes and gloves.
When we moved to New York 12 years ago, I became involved with 3 companies that would connect me to golf at even a higher level. Masterfoods, Heineken and General Motors. Through these associations I have been to many of the majors and have not missed The Masters for the past 11 years. I have played in some of the best charity events in the country including Hootie after the Masters, Tee time for Travis in Denver and AT&Ts Steven A Cox in New Jersey. I have also had a chance to play on some of the finest private and resort courses in the country. Winged Foot, Fiddlers Elbow, Ojai Valley, Cabo St Lucas, The Doral and The Plantation Course at Kapalua all within the past 8 months.
Larry Woodard Golf is my way of leveraging all of my golf connections and knowledge for area charities.
